When a company signs-up for a website, they tend to imagine what a great marketing investment opportunity they have just created for their business. What they don't know is that when a website is lacking the key elements of not only a great design but an even better development, then that's when the ugly situations tend to appear. Their new website has to look great and work effectively across different operating systems and browsers.

Imagine turning on your computer, opening up an internet browser, typing in the URL of your business and BANG! The page loads and you happen to discover that your website isn't looking as sharp as what the designs have demonstrated. Maybe it is looking sharp, but the site itself isn't working according to the development structure, there are: broken links, usability issues, image alt tags are missing... the list goes on.

People tend to forget that some of the most important issues behind their website's structure is in fact behind the website itself, in the HTML coding. If the right solutions for effective website development are put into place, with all key elements used to their fullest advantage such as: all descriptive tags, site structure and usability, and most importantly plenty of informative text throughout the site, then you will most definitely have yourself a very user-friendly, cross browser and search engine efficient website.

It's pretty much the same question that we ask when we go to the doctor. Only difference is, you wouldn't ask a doctor that question, you would have to ask a website developer.

The importance behind getting your site checked and improved could mean the difference between customers and losing business. I personally know that whenever I've come across a website that doesn't have any of those key elements in place, then I tend to get easily frustrated and sway away from ever going back to or referring anyone else to that website. As we all know - word of mouth is IMPORTANT!
